More Russians are now crossing the Finnish land border

According to the Finnish border guards, around 6,470 Russians crossed the land border into Finland on Thursday: “Incoming traffic is now greater than outgoing traffic,” it said. That compares to over 4,800 on Wednesday, the same day Russia’s President Vladimir Putin announced a plan to conscript some 300,000 Russians to fight in Ukraine.
