Since museum workSince its launch last year, they have engaged in dialogue with museum colleagues across the country to discuss important labor issues in the sector. A common thread in these conversations was the museum staff’s experiences with the Young Canada Works (YCW) program. Museum Labor has begun research into the YCW and consulted with other emerging museum professional groups on the subject.
To get a deeper understanding of perspectives, barriers and how to participate in YCW, start a opinion poll on the program. You would appreciate it if anyone who has participated in the program would take the time to share your thoughts and experiences, regardless of whether you hold a YCW position.
The progress of the research will be presented at the National Trust Conference in October 2022 and a full report will be shared with the wider museum community later this year.
If you have any questions about the survey, please contact them at E-mail.
