Weather: Sydneysiders flock to Bondi Beach for warm weather

Sydneysiders have flocked to the city’s beaches on Sunday to bask in the sunshine as the city had its first real taste of spring weather over the weekend.

Many took to social media to share the stunning views from across the city’s coastline.

Bondi Beach was packed to the rafters with people sunbathing in front of the teal blue water.

Sydney’s most iconic beach finally filled again with people after the winter months.

It seems locals are soaking up as much as sun as they can ahead of the forecasted wet summer ahead.

Some grazed in the rock pools and dipped their toes in the water.

The mercury hit a maximum of 23 degrees on Sunday with a morning low of 12 degrees – a sure sign the colder months are on their way out.
